Analytical Chemist
Location: Sunderland
Salary: £24,000
CY Partners are currently seeking an Analytical Chemist to join a research focused Pharmaceutical manufacturer based in the North East of England. The successful candidate will play a key role in the analytical chemistry team, contributing to the development and validation of analytical methods, and supporting the overall quality control processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques
- Develop and validate analytical methods in compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilise analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis for testing and characterisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of analytical issues and out-of-specification results
Role Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Chemistry or related field
- Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
