A leading specialist in the pharmaceutical services space is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across the US market. This is a full-time position representing a contract development and manufacturing organisations (CDMO) based in the US.
The role is focused on identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across key US markets.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Becoming an expert in the service offerings, value propositions, and goals of both organisations.
- Building and executing strategies to reach and engage new clients.
- Pitching services, leading meetings, and nurturing long-term relationships.
- Visiting potential and existing customers across the US.
- Representing the businesses at key industry events, tradeshows, and partnering meetings.
- Monitoring market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborating closely with the commercial leadership team to meet shared targets.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven success in a commercial, sales, or BD role within CDMO or a closely related space.
Experience generating and closing new business opportunities in a B2B life sciences setting.
Highly self-motivated and organised, with strong follow-up and planning skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
Comfortable working independently in a remote US-based role, with regular travel for client visits and industry events.
