Business Development Manager - Pharmaceuticals
CY Partners are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing, research focused Chemical Manufacturer based in the North East.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Development within the Life Science/Chemical industries. The territory will cover the UK and EU so occasional travel will be expected.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new client relationships
- Generate and progress leads
- Conduct market research and identify potential new clients
- Leading on marketing function via 3rd party
- Identify and capitalise on trends in the market
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients
- Maintain CRM system and monitor performance of campaigns
- Manage website leads
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales/BD in the Pharmaceuticals/Life Science/Chemical industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to assess clients’ needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision making abilities
