Contract Development Scientist
Location: Surrey, UK
Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 p/a
Summary:
CY Partners are advertising this exciting Contract Development Scientist role for a Global Consumer Health company in their Oral Health department. The ideal candidate should have experience in Formulation and be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be supporting new product development and providing analysis and evaluation of the products at all stages of the dev process.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Developing innovative and robust small molecule formulations for clinical and commercial applications, both pre-formulation and formulation investigations.
- Assisting with technology-driven platform technologies in the areas of powders, suspensions, liquids and sprays.
- Developing project strategies and parameters for formulation development.
- Preparing reports, technical documents and protocols for internal and external use.
- Writing and editing of key technology documents such as patents, regulatory filings and white papers according to regulatory guidance.
- Coordinating interactions with other development partners and internal and external functional groups.
- Providing technical advice and support to other project teams within the organisation.
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry, or a related area.
- Experience in oral health product formulation would be beneficial
- Extensive experience in Formulation, especially for small molecule compounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
