Dispensing Assistant
CY Partners are recruiting on behalf of a pharmaceutical company for a Dispensing Assistant to join a well established patient care pharmacy operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified dispensing professional who enjoys working in a patient focused environment where accuracy, quality and exceptional customer service are at the heart of everything they do.
Working within a busy pharmacy team, you will support the safe and efficient dispensing of prescription medicines while delivering an outstanding service.
Responsibilities will include:

Processing patient prescriptions and customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Dispensing and labelling prescription medicines in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Answering enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.

Taking payments and coordinating medication deliveries.

Maintaining accurate patient medication records (PMRs).
-
Receiving and managing pharmaceutical stock.
-
Ensuring medicines are stored safely and handled in line with regulatory requirements.

Supporting regulatory inspections, audits and quality standards.

Escalating clinical queries appropriately to the Pharmacist.

Delivering a consistently high level of customer service.
We're looking for someone who has:

A recognised pharmacy dispensing qualification (such as an NVQ Level 2 or BTEC in Pharmacy Services).

Previous experience working within a UK pharmacy environment.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong IT skills and confidence using pharmacy systems.

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A proactive, professional and reliable attitude with a genuine commitment to patient care.
This is a permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 5.30pm) offering the opportunity to join a supportive team environment, with ongoing training and professional development.
