Job Description:

As a Field applications Engineer (FAE), you will play a critical role in assisting clients with the development & manufacture of essential products through “design-in” projects – showcasing new products & technologies, technical support and developing strong customer relationships to increase sales.

Key duties will include:

  • Promoting products from a broad range portfolio of electronics e.g. semiconductors, displays, boards & systems, memory, and wireless technologies.
  • Identifying needs & opportunities within the market to secure “Design-Ins”.
  • Providing technical support and designing electronic systems, advising on appropriate technologies and products to support sales.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, travelling to meet with key accounts and offer in-person support onsite.

This position would be well suited to a recent graduate, who enjoys travel and the opportunity to learn & develop. This will be a career position, that will involve ongoing professional development, initially working closely with an experienced team of senior engineers before taking responsibility for a territory or specialist technology sector.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electronic or electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Knowledge or prior experience with prototyping or PCB design.
  • Fluent in both Norwegian & English
  • The availability to travel (Domestically & internationally)
  • A full driving licence.
  • Full right to work in the EU (Sponsorship is not available with this position)
