Are you an experienced professional with a passion for providing exceptional service in the pharmaceutical and analytical laboratory sectors?
My client are an international analytical instrumentation manufacturer, with a great reputation for quality and service. Due to continued growth, my client is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer to play a key role in supporting cutting-edge laboratory instrumentation across the UK and Europe. The role will be UK based, predominantly in the Midlands, but will require travel to Europe 1 week in every 6.
About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
• Deliver high-quality maintenance, qualification, and troubleshooting services for analytical laboratory instruments.
• Perform routine and non-routine PM/OQ/PQ.
• Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers.
• Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex issues and drive service delivery improvements.
• Represent the company’s brand with professionalism and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventive maintenance, operational qualifications, and performance qualifications.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns for dissolution and physical testing equipment.
• Support customers through remote troubleshooting and on-site visits.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the technical support team.
• Ensure customer complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.
What You Bring:
• Proven experience in a pharmaceutical analytical laboratory environment.
• Proven expertise in cGxP practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on dissolution and physical testing equipment.
• Autonomous working style with adherence to company guidelines.
