CY Partners have an exciting new opportunity to join a global pharmaceutical company at their site based in Hertfordshire.
The role is an initial 12 Month contract, with scope for futher.
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 p/a
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up laboratory equipment and vessels for experiments.
- Help ship materials and equipment, and manage orders for glassware and consumables in STV DSD labs, including chemistry and oligo-related materials.
- Map, maintain, and troubleshoot RX-10 and Hubers equipment, manage parts, and organise planned maintenance and long-term replacement planning (CapEx).
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and reordering of Swagelok parts.
- Oversee planned maintenance for Process Analytical Technology (PAT) tools.
- Adhere to all safety protocols in the laboratory environment and comply with applicable Data Integrity, Quality, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate repair and servicing of STV equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in laboratory environments within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance, inventory management, and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of cGMP, Data Integrity, and safety protocols in laboratory settings.
