CY Partners is working exclusively with a growing life sciences manufacturer operating in a highly regulated laboratory environment. This is an opportunity for someone looking to commence their career in a regulated laboratory production environment, with full training provided and clear development potential.
This role would suit a hands-on, detail-focused individual who values doing things properly, working to defined processes and contributing as part of a close-knit team.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a range of laboratory production and quality-related activities, supporting the manufacture and preparation of specialist biological products. Work is carried out in line with a robust Quality Management System and precision is critical.
Key responsibilities include:
- Laboratory based production and manufacturing activities
- Product labelling and preparation
- Hands on laboratory preparation work requiring high levels of accuracy and consistency (training provided)
- Incoming quality control of reagents and consumables
- General laboratory duties including stock management and equipment checks
- Accurate completion of documentation in line with ISO standard procedures
- Collaboration with colleagues across production, quality and technical teams
- All work is performed in accordance with ISO 13485 principles and internal health & safety policies.
About You
- Degree qualified in a related scientific discipline or similar level experience working in a laboratory or production environment
- High attention to detail and a right-first-time mindset
- Comfortable following procedures and maintaining accurate records
- Confident using basic IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working to ISO or GMP-style standards
- Background in regulated manufacturing or laboratory production
- Full training will be provided, so candidates with the right fundamentals and attitude are strongly encouraged to apply.
Working Pattern & Package
- Permanent position (Monday–Friday)
- Onsite working with flexible hours and core availability during the day
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with a Christmas closure period)
