Are you looking for Project Management opportunities within the Biotechnology and Life Science Industries? A fantastic opportunity to join a growing Biotech company based in York has recently come available.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development of lateral flow related projects from the point of feasibility through scale up into manufacturing. As well as managing customers and their expectations, ensuring compliance of projects to QMS and regulatory guidelines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership/Control: Provide updates against timelines against procedures and requirements. Lead and motivate teams of staff across multiple disciplines, to deliver on time and within budget.
- Resource/Project Planning: Ensure the correct skills and resources are available to deliver projects effectively. Define project timeline and activities to establish achievable timelines for the project.
- Customer Management: Be a point of contact for customer communication, customer management and delivering on expectations, and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Project Documentation: Start and maintain all project documents including plans, design inputs, risk management, action logs etc.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance to necessary guidelines and QMS.
- Follow and comply to all company guidelines, procedures and standards.
- Actively keep up to date with company/industry developments & trends, developing yourself and teams by attending courses, meetings, events etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service, displaying company values and fostering working relationships.
- Keep up to date with company products and services.
- Be self-motivated and organised, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as the ability to work well with others, and contribute to the development of the company.
About you:
- You will hold a relevant Scientific degree and some form of project management qualification such as Prince 2.
- Excellent data analysis skills, as well as great attention to detail.
- Knowledge and competency in using Microsoft and other software.
- Demonstratable knowledge of medical devices or scientific industries. As well as ISO 13485 or 9001.
- Effective attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team.
