Our client, a leader in delivering high quality, processed biological materials is seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Team Leader to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all aspects of QA activities are completed to the highest standards, adhering to all applicable regulations and best practices.
As a QA Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
• Leading and overseeing a team of QA personnel, ensuring they comply with Quality, GXP and EHS standards.
• Managing the Quality Management System, including oversight of key records.
• Ensuring all customer complaints, deviations, and corrective actions are completed and progressed in a timely manner.
• Identifying and implement improvements to the Quality System.
• Supporting manufacturing departments in handling deviations and quality incidents.
• Providing guidance and support to internal departments on quality standards and processes.
• Analysing trends in deviations, corrective actions, and customer complaints to identify areas for improvement.
• Managing risk to product quality, patient safety, and data integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
• Assisting and lead in internal audits and support hosting regulatory audits on site.
• Ensuring the performance of your direct reports meets required standards.
• Performing any other duties as required to maintain the effectiveness of QA operations.
To be considered as a QA Team Leader, you will need the following:
• Degree-level qualification in a science discipline or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in an operational quality role, ideally within a biopharmaceutical, clean room, or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sterile aseptic filling and packing manufacturing processes (preferred).
• A demonstrable commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Experience leading and managing a team, with the ability to share knowledge and develop others.
• Experience working with documentation and quality management systems.
• Strong risk management and statistical analysis experience.
• A natural tendency towards continuous improvement.
Please not that this is a 24/7 shift role requiring a flexible schedule. You will work a rotation of 4 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 nights on, 4 days off.
