My client is a leading clinical and laboratory service provider, specialising in a range of therapeutic areas and with the patient at the heart of their research.
They are currently looking to bring on board a Clinical Research Nurse who will support the smooth running of clinical studies from start up, to close out, with a patient centric approach. Whether you're an experienced Clinical Research Nurse, or a Registered Nurse looking to transition into the field of research, this could be a great next step in your career within a reputable and leading clinical research organisation.
Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Nurse will include;
- Promote the safety and wellbeing of all participants in the clinical trials in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Support the preparation, planning and execution of daily clinical activities.
- Assist senior teams with allocating and managing workloads.
- Guiding and mentoring members of the clinical team.
- Conduct clinical study activities in line with Regulatory, ICH GCP, and other applicable regulations and requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate the successful execution of research studies and projects.
- Support efficient study delivery through making effective decisions under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of communication with key points of contact.
To be considered for the Clinical Research Nurse vacancy you will need the following skills and experience;
- Hold a nursing qualification and be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Hold an ILS Resuscitation qualification and be competent in the use of relevant emergency equipment.
- Have a keen interest in clinical research / clinical trials, ideally with previous experience working within clinical research.
- An understanding of or working experience in line Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is highly desirable.
- The capability to deliver to deadlines and take a proactive approach to problem solving to support the delivery of clinical studies.
- Excellent communication skills and a personable nature to support relationship building and efficient delivery of clinically relevant information.
