Are you an experienced Study Manager with experience in Small Molecule analysis? An exciting opportunity to lead a team of Study Managers within small molecule bioanalysis is available with a fantastic bioanalytical lab in York!
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for the management of both regulatory and non-regulatory studies, as well as the direct line management of study managers within the small molecule team. You will also oversee LC-MS/MS method development, study plans, reports and SOPs and effectively lead individuals and teams, monitoring their performance and objectives.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Study Management:
- Review and oversee studies, ensuring they’re conducted in compliance to company SOPs, regulatory standards, and analytical methods.
- Act as departmental lead for Bioanalysis with clients and internal teams on assigned studies.
- Oversee LC-MS/MS method development and troubleshooting.
- Effectively monitors study specific budgets and operational costs, triggering and contributing to the generation of proposal amendments as required.
- Leadership:
- Performance management of teams and individuals, ensuring all staff have defined roles and objectives. Management of below standard performance in line with company/managerial guidelines.
- Lead the team and individuals towards effective performance to ensure the monthly operations are completed in line with company and client expectations.
- Ensure management and Leadership Team are fully informed, in a concise and honest manner. As well as day-to-day management of operations.
- Quality:
- Archive and complete any quality documentation (Quality issue, CAPA, deviation, change control) where required.
- Expected to take the lead in activities related to changes and developments in relevant regulatory standards affecting the business.
About You:
- Educated to BSc level in Chemistry or another related scientific subject.
- Minimum of 5 years study management experience in regulated bioanalytical studies.
- Excellent team working and independent working ability.
- The ability to work to deadlines and within strict timeframes.
- Effective organisational skills and attention to detail.
